Mid-weight polyblend with a soft hand. Pleated chima from a natural waist. Hidden side zip.
A family dinner in November. A Sunday afternoon visit to a grandmother's house. The lunch where the table runs long and the photograph happens by accident. The cheollik for the hours that do not ask for ceremony.
Saranopda is a Korean adjective that lives between sweet and lovely, the word a grandmother uses for a granddaughter at the table. The cheollik can carry that register without losing its bones. A softer shoulder, a slight fluting at the sleeve. The architecture holds. The warmth comes in.
This piece keeps the cheollik discipline and tunes the sleeve. The fluting is small, more felt than seen, a flare at the cuff that catches the wrist on a wave. A mid-weight polyblend with a soft hand holds the pleated chima from a natural waist. A hidden side zip. The mini for playful rooms, the long for composed ones.
Worn at a Sunday lunch with the grandparents. The mini moves across the kitchen between the rice cooker and the table. The grandmother uses the word saranopda when the photograph is taken, and the cheollik earns the name. The afternoon ends on the porch, the sleeve fluting catching the last of the light.
