Inquire
Send Eric a message through the inquiry form, by text, or by email. Tell him the occasion, who the hanbok is for, and any colors or images you already love. The more you share, the better the first reply.
This is not online shopping. Every hanbok is custom, so the process is a conversation. Here is what to expect, step by step.
From the day we confirm your order to the day it arrives at your door. Weddings need the longer window because the embroidery and the fitting take more care.

Eric replies personally within one business day. You will get options that fit your occasion, your timeline, and your taste. No pressure, no upsell. A consultation can happen by email, phone, or in the San Mateo studio by appointment.
Once you choose a piece, Eric will walk you through the measurements we need. Four measurements for most hanbok, a few more for wedding pieces. You can self-measure with our guide, or come into the studio.
Your piece is made by our partner atelier in Seoul. When it arrives at the San Mateo studio, Eric inspects the lining, the stitch, the fall of the skirt, and the embroidery. Nothing leaves the studio until it is right.
Your hanbok ships insured, with a care card and a personal note. If you want an unboxing call, Eric will be on the other end. After the day, we follow up to hear how it went.
Free consultation with Eric, by phone, email, or in the studio. As long as it takes to find the right piece.
Every piece is hand-checked in San Mateo before it ships. If anything is off, it goes back.
A printed care card and a follow-up after your event, so the piece lasts the next decade and beyond.
Every hanbok is made to your measurements, so returns are limited. If something is wrong on our side, we make it right. If the piece fits and the construction is sound, we do not accept returns. We tell you this up front so there are no surprises.
If you self-measure and the piece arrives slightly off, Eric can usually arrange a local alteration through a Bay Area seamstress. For wedding pieces, we strongly recommend an in-studio measurement appointment in San Mateo.
Daily-wear pieces start around $400. Ceremonial silks and wedding hanbok run higher. Eric will share exact pricing during the consultation, based on the fabric, the embroidery, and any custom work.
