Who we are
The Korean In Me is a small atelier based in San Mateo, California. The site you are reading is operated by Eric Lee. The mailing address, phone, and email at the foot of every page are the only ways we receive communication.
What information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to share when you write to us. That generally means:
- Your name and email address (and, if you choose to share it, your phone number) when you submit the inquiry form.
- Anything you tell us in the body of an inquiry, an email, or a text message, for example, an event date, sizing notes, or a question about a particular hanbok.
- Your email address if you sign up for our occasional newsletter.
We do not have user accounts, comments, a shopping cart, or any kind of checkout, so we do not collect billing or password information through this site.
How we use it
We use the information you share to reply to your inquiry, to send you a catalog or a quote, to arrange a fitting or a lesson, and, if you have asked for the newsletter, to send a short note when something new is in the studio. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside the studio.
How inquiries are delivered
Inquiry forms on this site are delivered through Formspree, which receives the form contents on our behalf and emails them to Eric. Formspree's privacy policy applies to its handling of that traffic. We do not store form submissions on this website itself.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set any tracking cookies of its own. The fonts on the site are loaded from Google Fonts, which may set its own cookies, see Google's privacy policy. If we add page analytics in the future, we will update this page first and use a privacy-respecting tool.
Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to delete your information from our records. Email eric@seod.com with the subject "Delete my information" and we will remove what we have within a few business days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
