The Nuridal Skirt.

Reference TKIM-D-050 · 3 to 4 week production

$215 to $305 · quoted in consultation

A flared chima named for the moment the moon clears the world. Cut wide through the body so the fabric falls rather than fits, hung from a wide waistband and finished long. Layers over a slip in cold months, stands alone when the air softens.

The Nuridal Skirt

Room enough.

Fabric

Mid-weight crepe blend with a soft drape. Hand-tacked hem. Hidden side zip.

Occasion

Travel days when the leg has to swing. A walking dinner through a neighborhood that does not stop at the door. The skirt that moves with the room and does not ask the body to bargain.

The story

Nuridal reads as world-moon. The chima is the oldest piece of the hanbok wardrobe, a wide waistband and a single bias that trusts cloth to fall rather than tailor it to a shape. The form predates the Western blouse and the borrowed silhouette. The Nuridal keeps that trust and lets the leg find its own room.

Mid-weight crepe with a soft hand. The drape settles after the first wear and holds. The hem is hand-tacked so the line breaks cleanly when the body turns. A hidden zip at the side keeps the front and back panels uninterrupted. Nothing on the surface argues for attention. The chima carries itself.

Worn for the day that does not sit down. An overnight flight where the photographs at the other end still have to land. A long dinner in the next neighborhood over. The chima that reads Korean from across a street and earns its keep through the time between.

Hand-finished in Seoul. Inspected and fitted in San Mateo.
