The Dasoda Jeogori Blouse.

Reference TKIM-D-062 · 3 to 4 week production

$195 to $285 · quoted in consultation

Dasoda carries the traditional V-neck jeogori with the hem extended a touch beyond the classic cut. The shoulder sits where the jeogori demands, the closure stays at the goreum line, the length opens the blouse to weekday wear.

The Dasoda Jeogori Blouse

Jeogori, eased.

Fabric

Mid-weight cotton blend. Mother-of-pearl button placket. Liner through the bust.

Occasion

A casual family table on a Saturday afternoon. A weekday lunch where the jeogori line reads but the blouse does not announce itself. The blouse that does not require an occasion to make sense.

The story

The jeogori is the upper half of the hanbok, the short jacket tied at the chest with a goreum. Its proportions are old and exact. The shoulder sits narrow, the sleeve cuts short, the hem stops above the waist. Translating the form into a daily blouse asks for one decision, where to give. The Dasoda gives at the hem.

Mid-weight cotton blend with enough body to hold the jeogori shoulder. A mother-of-pearl button placket runs the front so the blouse closes without a ribbon. The bust is lined for quiet body. The hem extends past the classic stopping point so the blouse sits cleanly over a high-waist trouser or a long chima. The form holds.

Worn on the Saturday afternoon when the family eats together and the dress code is whatever the morning landed on. A weekday lunch where the jeogori line still reads but the blouse does not announce itself. The piece that puts hanbok into the calendar without asking the wearer to commit to the full silhouette.
