Damso, quiet conversation. A pearl-centered norigae with a single freshwater pearl as the juche, finished with a slender tassel. The smallest of our norigae line, sized for the day that asks for restraint.

One pearl. Quiet.
Silk cord throughout. Single freshwater pearl. Hand-tied tassel.
Daywear hanbok at the casual lunch where the dress is the answer and the ornament is small. The senior portrait that asks for one detail at the chest. The norigae that whispers.
Norigae is the ornament tied at the goreum, an old form that lived equally in the court and the daily household. A married woman wore one, an unmarried woman wore one. The smaller shapes carried the daily register, where a single stone or a single pearl was enough to mark the wearer without announcing the household.
Silk cord throughout, a single freshwater pearl held as the central element. The tassel is hand-tied slender so the piece sits light. The whole norigae is sized smaller than our ceremonial forms and reads as a daily piece that has been kept for a long time. The pearl catches directional light without flashing.
Worn on the daywear hanbok that does not need a ceremony to justify it. A senior portrait where the elder asks for one detail and the photographer asks for stillness. The pearl lands at the chest and steps back. The norigae for the day that holds its volume low.
