The story
Cotton has been the everyday cloth of the Korean household for centuries. The Joseon wardrobe knew silk for ceremony and cotton for daily life. Through the twentieth century the two register together, where a cotton chima could carry the ceremonial silhouette without claiming the ceremonial cloth. Eunsom names a silver version of that cotton register.
Mid-weight brushed cotton blend with a soft hand and quiet structure. The chima is lined through the top panel so the waistband sits clean. A hidden side zip keeps the panels uninterrupted. The ivory tone is cool rather than warm so the chima reads silver under directional light. The brushed surface reads texture without flashing.
