One flower. One bead at the heart.
Fine wire, glass beads, central crystal. Hand-finished metal back.
Daywear hanbok at the family table. The brooch for the day that wants one bright note at the chest, sized smaller than the cluster brooches. A weekday lunch where the collar carries the only ornament.
Wirework brooches have lived inside Korean ornament for generations, the same family of work that produced silver hairpins and small ceremonial pendants. The shape lets metal draw a petal rather than cast it. A single flower in this register carries less weight than a cluster and reads more deliberate for the restraint.
Fine wire shaped into petals around a single central crystal, with glass beads set along each petal edge. The back is hand-finished, the steel pin fastens cleanly. The brooch is sized smaller than the multi-flower forms so it can land at the jeogori collar without crowding the line. The drawing reads from speaking distance.
Worn on the daywear hanbok where the dress is quiet and the brooch is the answer for the chest. A weekday lunch where the collar carries the only ornament. The piece for the day that wants one bright note and does not want to argue about it.
