A long jeogori in tonal layers, the chest panel catching light through a softer drape. The name reads as hazy or dreamlike, the cut holds the same register. Mid-weight cotton blend, lined bust, hidden snap closures.

Hazy. Quiet. Long.
Mid-weight cotton blend with a soft hand. Lined through the bust. Hidden snap closures.
A quiet dinner at a long table. A Sunday service where the music sits low. The piece that softens the room around it without pulling focus from the people in it.
The long jeogori is a contemporary reading of an old form. The traditional jeogori sat at the bust, the modern wardrobe wants more body. Across the past two decades the Seoul ateliers have lengthened the line in answer to the lower chima waist and the wearer who wants a longer photograph. The Aryeon belongs to that conversation.
The tonal layering is the design. Two close registers of cotton drape against each other and resolve only in motion. The bust is lined for structure, the closures are hidden to keep the chest panel uninterrupted. The hand-finish at the hem keeps the line soft against the chima beneath.
Worn to the Sunday dinner held in a house with low light. The piece does not announce itself. The grandmother at the end of the table reads it as quiet, the quiet that takes work to make. The reading lands without anyone having to say it.
Hand-finished in Seoul. Inspected and fitted in San Mateo.
