Lightweight linen blend in indi-pink. Wrap closure with hidden tie.
A summer outdoor gathering in the late afternoon. The piece that calls August without trying. The skirt that breathes through the meal and photographs warm at the end of the day.
Pink in Korean dress runs from court-pink, deep and saturated, to indi-pink, the softer reading that comes through natural dyes. The Indi-Pink colorway sits in the latter tradition. The color reads as warmth rather than sweetness, the pink a grandmother would name as proper rather than playful.
The Indi-Pink Linen keeps the long chima line and runs the wrap closure at the hip. The linen takes the dye unevenly, by design, so the cloth reads as natural color rather than printed. The hidden tie keeps the waistband flat. The hem drops to the ankle, finished by hand for a clean edge against a sandal.
Worn to the outdoor family lunch held under a tree, where the light comes through the leaves dappled and the photograph at the end is warm at every register. The chima holds the color through the meal. The cousin who is studying photography asks for the print of the moment at the table, the chima as the warm note at the edge of the frame.
