The story
Inyeon is the Korean word for the connection that is meant to be, the meeting that becomes a marriage, the friendship that becomes a family. The word is older than its translation, carrying Buddhist roots and a centuries-long use in everyday conversation. A cheollik built around inyeon has to hold the weight of the word.
The Inyeon cuts the shoulder with a refined break, slightly more architectural than the everyday cheollik. The chima drops fuller through the lower line, holding more cloth at the hem for a deliberate read. The cotton blend takes the press clean. The bodice is lined. The side zip stays hidden.
